Did you know?

Did you know that in the Institute for Business and Home Safety found that water damage from a sink averaged more than $7,000 per incident?

The IBHS recommends that home owners should:

  1. Inspect plumbing beneath sinks every six months.

  2. Ensure connections are secure and there is no evidence of corrosion on the pipes.

  3. Look for kinks in copper or plastic pipes. These could lead to pinhole leaks over time.

  4. Locate the water shut-off valve. Inspect the valve every six months to make sure the water supply will shut off. Replace the valve if needed.
